Child safety standards

Wedo is a marriage app for adults. It has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind. These are the standards that Wedo, run by Second Profit LLC, holds itself and every member to.

Last updated 5 October 2026

Adults only

  • You must be 18 or older to use Wedo. The app refuses a date of birth under 18 when you sign up.
  • On Google Play, Wedo is also kept from accounts that Google has determined belong to minors.
  • If we learn that somebody under 18 has an account, we remove it.

What is prohibited

Child sexual abuse and exploitation is prohibited on Wedo in every form — in photos, in profiles and in messages. This includes:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any image, video or text that sexualises a minor.
  • Grooming, or any attempt to contact, meet or build a relationship with a minor.
  • Asking for, offering or sharing images of children in any sexual or harmful context.
  • Any content involving a child in a way that is not plainly innocent.

There are no warnings and no strikes. An account involved in any of this is closed at once and cannot come back.

How to report it

  • In the app: every profile and every conversation has Report in its menu. Choose “They appear to be under 18”, “Inappropriate photos” or “Inappropriate messages”, and add anything that helps.
  • Without the app: email [email protected] or use the contact form at wedo.life/contact. You do not need an account.

Reports are confidential: the person you report is never told. A person on our team reads every report, and reports about the safety of a child are handled first, as soon as we see them.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first.

What we do

  • Remove the content and close the account straight away, and block the same email address from signing up again.
  • Keep what the law requires us to keep, and report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant authorities in the country concerned.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement requests that reach us through the proper legal channels.

Following the law

Wedo complies with the child safety laws that apply where it is available, including the duty to report child sexual abuse material to the authorities.
