Using Wedo
Short version: be who you say you are, treat people the way you would want your own family treated, and marriage is the point. The rest of this page is the same idea, said carefully.

What Wedo is
Wedo is a place to find a marriage partner. Everyone here has said that is what they are looking for, and the app is built around it — you answer questions about yourself and what matters to you, and you are shown people whose answers fit.
We introduce people. We are not a matchmaker, an agency, or a wali, and we do not vouch for anybody. What happens after two people start talking is between them and their families.
Wedo is free. If that ever changes, we will tell you before it does.
Who can join
- You must be 18 or older.
- One account each. Not an account on somebody else's behalf, and not a second account after we have closed your first.
- What you put on your profile has to be true — your name, your age, your situation. Everyone here is deciding whether to meet you based on it.
- The photos have to be of you. Not a friend, not a stranger, not a picture of somebody you found.
What is not allowed here
There is no tolerance for any of the following. Not a warning system, not a strike count — an account doing these things is closed.
- Harassment, threats, intimidation, or continuing to contact somebody who has stopped replying.
- Sexual content of any kind: messages, photos, or propositions. This is not that kind of app.
- Nudity, or any photo somebody would not show their family.
- Insults or hatred aimed at anyone's faith, sect, ethnicity, nationality, country, or family.
- Pretending to be someone you are not.
- Asking members for money, investment, gifts, or help with a payment. Advertising anything, recruiting for anything, or moving people off Wedo to sell to them.
- Anyone under 18, and any content involving a child in a way that is not plainly innocent.
- Sharing somebody else's photos, messages, or private details — inside the app or outside it. What another member shows you is for you.
- Anything against the law where you are.
If you are not sure whether something belongs here, the test is simple: would you be comfortable if the other person's family read it?
Reporting somebody
Every profile and every conversation has a report option, and blocking is on the same menu. Reports are confidential — the person you report is never told, and nothing in the app hints at it.
We aim to look at every report within 24 hours. Depending on what we find we may remove content, warn the member, or close the account, and we can do any of that without telling them first when somebody's safety is involved.
Blocking is mutual and total: you disappear from each other everywhere in Wedo — Discover, chats, likes — and neither of you can reach the other again.
What we do not check
This matters more than anything else on this page, so it is written plainly: Wedo does not verify anybody's identity. There is no ID check, no background check, and no confirmation that a person is who their profile says. We check that an email address works. That is all.
So please be careful in the way you would advise your own sister or brother to be:
- Involve your family early. That is the tradition and it is also the best protection there is.
- Meet in a public place, and tell somebody where you are going.
- Never send money, and never share bank or card details. Anybody who asks is not here to marry you.
- Take your time. Somebody rushing you off Wedo and onto another app in the first hour is a reason to stop, not a compliment.
What you write and post
Your words and your photos stay yours. You give Wedo permission to store them and to show them to other members exactly as your own settings allow — nothing wider. We do not use your photos in advertising, we do not put you on a billboard, and we do not licence anything of yours to anybody else.
You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Ending it
You can pause your account whenever you want, and delete it whenever you want — both from Settings. Deleting removes your profile, your answers, your photos and your messages. There is no waiting period and nobody will call to talk you out of it.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we believe puts other members at risk.
The legal part
Wedo is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running and to keep it safe, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable, and we cannot promise you will meet the right person.
Because we do not verify members, we are not responsible for what any member says or does, on Wedo or after you meet. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited.
Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you where you live.
If this page changes
We will change the date at the top. If a change actually affects you, we will tell you in the app rather than hoping you re-read this.
